Sad: Stray bullet Kills Nigerian Player

Another chapter of death in the Nigeria football circles was opened over the weekend when a Nigerian defender Izu Joseph was hit by a stray bullet in Bayelsa state on Sunday.
Though it was understood that Izu was rushed to the hospital after the sad incidence, he did not survive thus joining the long list of deaths recorded in Nigeria football in 2016.

Izu until his death was playing club football with Nigeria Professional Football League side, Shooting Stars.
The Oluyole Warriors are already mourning the sad exit of one of their trusted defenders.
Izu Joseph
“A Shooting STAR is gone! Izu Joseph is gone! Flamboyant defender is gone! RIP, brother. What a life! May God strengthen his family #Tragedy” the Ibadan-based club wrote on their official twitter handle on Monday morning.
The year 2016 is one many will want to forget quickly owing to the attendant deaths that has greeted the football fraternity in the last ten months.
