Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo believes he can continue
playing for another 10 years after penning a new deal at Real Madrid
that will see hime earn as much £365,000 per week.
The
31-year-old striker's last deal was set to end in June 2018 but he will
now remain with the Spanish giants until June 2021 and the prolific
forward insists the new deal would not be the last deal he signs.
"I want to thank the president, Real Madrid, the city, my teammates
and all the people who helped me get to this point. It is a very special
day for me, a very important day for my relationship with Real Madrid.
This club is in my heart.
"It is a unique moment in my life,
renewing for five more years and it is not the last contract because I
want to stay here many more years".
"Football does not have a
memory but you, president, and Real Madrid do. I want to keep doing my
best for this shirt and the best club in the world. I'll give it my
best, score goals and win trophies. I am very happy because it is a
dream come true for me".Ronaldo told the club's official website
has scored 371 goals since joining Real from United in 2009 and has
helped the club win the Champions League twice and La Liga once.While he wants to end his career at the Bernabeu, he admitted: "No-one knows what the future holds"
