Nigeria Oladipo Signs New $84million Oklahoma Thunder Deal

Kehinde Babatunde Victor Oladipo, the Nigerian American based professional basketball player, has extended his contract with Oklahoma City Thunder team.
Oladipo, who considered playing with D’Tigers at the Rio 2016 Olympics, signed a multi-year contract extension at an undisclosed fee, even as there are reports that it is a four-year $84million package for the former Orlando Magic guard.

Sam Presti,the Vice President and general manager of the team said, “We are excited to extend our partnership with Victor.”
“The player represents the Thunder’s present and future, exhibiting the values that the Oklahoma community and our organization hold in high regard: hard work, team first, resiliency and citizenship,”Presti said.
Oladipo, who is in his 4th year as an NBA player, has appeared in 227 games (170 starts) and posted averages of 15.9 points, 4.0 assists, 4.3 rebounds and 1.62 steals in 33.2 minutes per game.
He was originally the second overall pick in the 2013 NBA Draft and was acquired by the Thunder from the Orlando Magic this past June.
The Indiana University product was named in the 2013-14 NBA All-Rookie first team, and in three games this season with Oklahoma City. Oladipo averages 17.0 points, 2.3 assists, 3.7 rebounds and 1.00 steal.
He is one of just three players, since 1985-86, to begin his career with three consecutive seasons of 1,100+ points, 110+ steals and 70+ 3-point field goals.
The former National Co-Defensive Player of the Year in college was named to the 2016 USA Men’s Select Team this past summer.
