Aisha Buhari Urges Governors Wives To Back Husbands Agenda

The wife of the President, Hajia Aisha Muhammadu Buhari, has urged the women, especially governors wives in the country to continue to be supportive to their husbands agenda in achieving positive goals in all spheres of live.

The president’s wife while allying the fears of former Head of State, General Abdulsalami, who said, “men should not be threatened, because women have not taken over. We only see ourselves as bridge builders to help the men.”

Mrs Buhari made the disclosure in Minna at the weekend in the RAiSE Foundation Fund Raising Launch and Unveiling of the Cancer Screening Centre an initiative of the wife of Niger state governor, Dr Amina Abubakar Sani Bello.

She appealed to the women to be supportive to the agendas of their husbands, saying that, “there is nothing more gratifying than having a woman who is very active in all areas of life”.

The Former Military Head of State, General Abdulsalami Abubakar had called on the male gender in the country to stand up and raise foundations as men are fast becoming endangered species.

General Abdulsalami added that there is the need to get foundation that will carter for the old in the country hence urged Nigerians to give peace a chance in every parts of the Nation to enhanced development.
