The Oluwo of Iwo, Oba AbdulRasheed Akanbi is today celebrating his 50th Birthday anniversary.The event which is also expected to mark second year of the frontline monarch on the throne had among other dignitaries Governor Rauf Aregbesola of the State of Osun, the Minister for Communication, Barr Adebayo Shittu, Etsu Nupe, Imperial Majesty, Alhaji Yahaya Abubakar in attendant.Others are Senator Florence Ita-Giwa, Former SSG to Oyo State government, Mr. Olayiwola Adekojo.Though former Nigeria president, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo could not make it to the event but sent representation.

A groom in Singapore decided to teach his cheating bride a lifetime lesson by playing a footage of her alleged infidelity in front of their wedding guest.According to Mirror, their loved ones and guest were stunned when they saw the bride ‘behaving intimately’ with another man on the screen.

The video as reported began with the bride and the groom’s relationship so far but suddenly, there was a clip of the bride with another man going into a hotel room and afterwards had intercourse in the room.

The Bayelsa State Government has inaugurated a 12-member rapid response team comprising top medical professionals to prevent the spread of the suspected monkeypox, a viral epidemic that has infected 13 persons in the state.Besides the 12 members, which make up the core team, other sub-teams to carry out contact tracing of patients has also been set up.The State Commissioner for Health, Prof. Ebimitula Etebu, who inaugurated the committee reassured the citizens that there was no need to panic.

Uber Drivers Arrested For Allegedly Robbing Female Clients At Night

The Lagos State police command has arrested two Uber drivers who specialised in robbing women of their valuables at gunpoint.The drivers, Fosta Rufus, 30, and Franklin Jogbodo, according to the Special Anti Robbery squad boss, Mohammed Sanusi, picked up their targets around Lekki, Ajah and Victoria Island areas of Lagos.This is the second of such arrest of Uber drivers in Lagos. It was gathered that the suspects were accused of robbing their victims of valuables such as jewelry, expensive phones and cash, and their victims are mainly ladies who go out at night.

Senator Isah Misau, representing Bauchi Central in the Upper Chamber really does have a truckload of dirt on the Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris.Raising fresh allegations against the IGP at plenary today, Misau said, “The IG is openly having two relationships with police women which he gave special promotion. The Former Big Brother Housemate T-boss and singer Ellyman has been seen in Zanzibar having a really nice time on a vacation and taking some cool photos.It’s not quite clear what going on but they are most likely working on a project together as new photos of the singer, Ellyman who recently visited Zanzibar, Tanzania along with reality TV star Tboss pops up online.One of the photos shows Ellyman shirtless kissing Tboss as she clings tight to him.

Collapsing Stage Prop Injures US Rocker Marilyn Manson

Shock rocker Marilyn Manson was rushed to a hospital Saturday after he was crushed under a falling stage prop during a concert in New York.The theatrical singer is known for his violent imagery, but the crowd soon realized that the incident was no stunt and his show was abruptly ended mid-way.

A representative said that Manson was taken to a hospital but offered no further details of his condition or the incident at the 2,200-capacity Hammerstein Ballroom in Midtown Manhattan.

An unidentified young man has been arrested by civillians at Agbani in Enugu state on Sunday, 1st October, Nigeria’s independence day.The alleged thief was caught red-handed in an attempt steal a parked motorcycle at Agbani.The suspected thief was reported to hail from Ebonyi state.It was also reported that the suspect was roughed up and beaten before he was handed over to the Local Police.

President Muhammadu Buhari is in Maiduguri, Borno State Capital to celebrate the 57th independence anniversary with troops.

A source at the presidency confirmed this on Sunday.

Garba Shehu, senior special assistant to the president on media and publicity, also confirmed that the president was on his way to Maiduguri.

You have no idea how bad this makes me feel, seeing Africa’s most talented duo getting into messy fights and spraying the bo on social media. The Okoye brothers getting into fights and making it public on social media, thereby attracting comments from fans and strangers who love to dish out advice for a story they truly know nothing of is no new story. The last fight which was in 2016 led to the duo itching to restructure the family business . Only after lots of pleas and intervention from fans and colleagues were they able to settle their differences which led to a release of their hit song “Bank Alert”.

Singer Timaya has replied veteran rapper, Eedris Abdulkareem who described him as an ingrate.

In an interview with Goldmyne TV, Eedris had said Timaya is an ingrate who forgot him after making him popular.

He added that the singer had no talent but he nurtured him and sharpened his skill.

Disgraced former American footballer O.J. Simpson could be released on parole as soon as Monday in Las Vegas under a plan being finalized by Nevada officials.

Man Leaves Wife And Children To Live With Cows

Vijay Parsana, A married father-of-two in India abandoned his family five years ago to live full-time with cows who he thanks for saving his life and has since developed an deep love for them.

Vijay claims that the animals saved him from his bad gambling habit and so he eats the cows’ urine and dung, bathes, watches television and shares his bed with them in a religious retreat. According to him, he got to know how cow’s milk, its urine and cow dung is full of goodness and therefore committed fully to it.

Using a small bunch of broomsticks, known as ijabe, to mash ewedu (mallow-leaves) is very common among Nigerians when preparing the slimy soup.

However, medical experts have said that the age-old practice is actually fraught with dangers.

Ewedu is also known as Rama ayoyo among Hausa, while the Igbo call it Kerenkere.

Since the breakup of the country’s number 1 duo in the music industry P-Square, almost every celebrity seems to have something to say about the breakup. While some like Tunde Ednut choose to pick sides, Basket Mouth had taken the situation really lightly, accusing the twins of not waiting for his show to be over before starting the fight.

The comedian said the stories of their breakup had killed the publicity of his coming show.
