You have no idea how bad this makes me feel, seeing Africa’s most talented duo getting into messy fights and spraying the bo on social media. The Okoye brothers getting into fights and making it public on social media, thereby attracting comments from fans and strangers who love to dish out advice for a story they truly know nothing of is no new story. The last fight which was in 2016 led to the duo itching to restructure the family business . Only after lots of pleas and intervention from fans and colleagues were they able to settle their differences which led to a release of their hit song “Bank Alert”.

Singer Timaya has replied veteran rapper, Eedris Abdulkareem who described him as an ingrate.
In an interview with Goldmyne TV,  Eedris had said Timaya is an ingrate who forgot him after making him popular.
He added that the singer had no talent but he nurtured him and sharpened his skill.

OJ Simpson Set To Be Released On Monday

Disgraced former American footballer O.J. Simpson could be released on parole as soon as Monday in Las Vegas under a plan being finalized by Nevada officials.
State Department of Corrections spokeswoman Brooke Keast said: “process culminating in freedom for the former football player, actor and TV pitchman is in motion, but must be approved and documents must be signed”.

Bayern Meet To Discuss Ancelotti’s Future After PSG Defeat

The Bayern Munich hierarchy are set to hold a meeting to discuss Carlo Ancelotti’s future on Thursday afternoon, according to Sky Sports.
The Bavarians were beaten 3-0 by Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League on Wednesday, which was preceded by a 2-2 draw at home against Wolfsburg last weekend.
Sky Sports reports Ancelotti is unlikely to be sacked on Thursday.

Three-Year-Old Anointed As ‘Living Goddess’ In Nepal

A three-year-old girl was anointed the new Kumari of Kathmandu by Hindu priests on Thursday in a ritual that will see her worshipped as a “living goddess” until she reaches puberty.
Wearing a red dress, Trishna Shakya was taken from her home to an ancient palace in the Nepalese capital’s historic Durbar Square where her initiation began with a short ceremony.

Playboy Founder Hugh Hefner Dies At 91

Hugh Hefner, the silk pyjamas-wearing founder of Playboy who helped steer nudity into the American mainstream, died Wednesday, the magazine announced. He was 91 years old.
Hefner, who in 1953 founded a trailblazing brand that would help usher in the 20th century’s shifting attitude towards sexuality, died of natural causes in his Beverly Hills home — the famed Playboy Mansion — according to a statement from Playboy Enterprises.

Man Leaves Wife And Children To Live With Cows

Vijay Parsana, A married father-of-two in India abandoned his family five years ago to live full-time with cows who he thanks for saving his life and has since developed an deep love for them.
Vijay claims that the animals saved him from his bad gambling habit and so he eats the cows’ urine and dung, bathes, watches television and shares his bed with them in a religious retreat. According to him, he got to know how cow’s milk, its urine and cow dung is full of goodness and therefore committed fully to it.

Using a small bunch of broomsticks, known as ijabe, to mash ewedu (mallow-leaves) is very common among Nigerians when preparing the slimy soup.

British Airways Sacks Cabin Crew Over Racist Comments On Nigerians

The British Airways (BA) has sacked a member of its cabin crew who allegedly made racist comments against Nigerians on board a flight from London Heathrow to Abuja.
British Airways Regional Commercial Manager, West Africa, Kola Olayinka, said the female cabin crew was relieved of her job after the airline concluded investigations into the matter.
The airline had launched an investigation following the appearance of a video clip of her making uncomplimentary racist remarks about Nigerians.

Rwanda Begins Campaign To Reduce Use Of Firewood

Rwanda has begun a campaign to reduce the use of firewood for cooking while promoting other technologies such as gas and energy saving stoves to limit deforestation.
Minister of Land and forestry Francine Tumushime announced the above at a stakeholders meeting in the capital city of Kigali.
She decried the fact that forests in the east African country are being harvested before maturity largely for cooking purposes.

Saudi Arabia said Tuesday it would allow women to drive, the last country in the world to do so, sparking euphoria and disbelief among activists in the ultra-conservative kingdom, where social restrictions are increasingly being loosened.
The longstanding driving ban was seen internationally as a symbol of repression of women in the Gulf kingdom and its repeal comes after years of resistance from female activists.

Why Awolowo Did Not Make The West To Secede

On May 1 1967 at a meeting of Leaders of thought of Western Region, Chief Obafemi Awolowo, made the following declaration: “I consider my duty to Yoruba people in particular and to Nigerians in general to place four imperatives, two of them categorical, and two conditional. (1) Only a peaceful solution must be found to arrest the present worsening stalemate and restore normalcy. (2) The Eastern Region must be encouraged to remain part of the Federation (3) If the Eastern Region is allowed by acts of omission or commission to secede from or opt of Nigeria, then Western Region and Lagos must also stay out of the Federation. (4) The people of Western Nigeria or Lagos would participate in the Ad hoc Constitutional Committee or any similar body only on the basis of absolute equality with other Region of the Federations.” It was the gravest statement made by any leader in Nigeria at a crucial time.

Two US police officers who spent years investigating the death of the Hip Hop icon, have now revealed the identity of the killer who murdered Tupac.In a new explosive documentary Who Shot Biggie & Tupac?, Detectives Tim Bennan and Robert Ladd said a gangster member from the Crips, Orlando ‘Baby Lane’ Anderson was the killer who opened fire on the star’s car in Las Vegas in 1996 in a revenge attack.

South African Policemen Beat Nigerian To Death

A Nigerian man only identified as Obosi, was allegedly beaten to death by metro police bee Mandela in Johannesburg South Africa. According to a Facebook user, Star Boy Nino Brown who shared the photos and videos online, the deceased was covered with plastic over his face and after much beating, he passed out and died.The Facebook user, however, did not state when the incident happened. Nigerian men in the area came out to protest his killing.

Illegal Arms Dealers Arrested In Zamfara

Two illegal arms dealers, Abdulkarim Jibrin and Suleiman , have been arrested by the Troops of 1 Division Nigerian Army in conjunction with elements of Department of State Services, along Funtua-Gusau road in Zamfara State.
They were caught driving a Golf Volkswagen car with registration number AWE-534-AA (Nasarawa) containing 1,479 rounds of 7.62mm (Special) ammunition on Sunday, September 24th. Preliminary investigation showed that they were on their way to deliver the ammunition to armed bandits. The suspects are in Department of State Services custody.
