Man Allegedly Poisons His Twin Daughters To Death In Calabar Over Witchcraft

The Cross River State Police Command has arrested a 40-year-old man, Anyanime Festus, for allegedly poisoning his twin daughters after he accused them of killing his parents.Festus allegedly gave his 11-year-old twin daughters a black substance mixed with acid after which he took them to a bush path and made them drink it.Vanguard is reporting that the suspect, resident in Akampka Local Government Area of the state admitted that his daughters were witches.

Nigerian Rapper, Michael Ugochukwu Stephens, popularly known as Ruggedman has waded into the heated controversy on the planned protest by music legend, Tuface.He has come out to slam fellow artiste, Blackface for sharing and approving a post that criticized 2face for planning to lead a protest against the Buhari-led government.Blackface had earlier today shared a post on his Instagram page @blackfacenaija castigating 2face and describing him as an illiterate. The post was originally written by Dr Bunmi Awoyemi Divinewealth.

Protest rocked Ayede Ekiti in Oye Local Government Area of Ekiti State on Tuesday, as a man identified as Seyi Oladipo was shot dead over land dispute.The land in dispute is located at Orisunmibare,‎ between Ayede Ekiti and a neighbouring town, Itaji Ekiti.The 40-year old Oladipo and father of three was allegedly shot right within the disputed land.

The Commissioner of Police, Rivers State. Mr. Francis Bolaji Odesanya, is dead. He was said to have passed away this morning after a brief illness.According to Sahara Reporters, quoting police sources, Odesanya died of kidney failure in an Indian hospital.
